So. I get home from the hell semester to find my scanner is on the fritz. After I was all geared up to digitally archive my work that didn't get printed. My handcut negative strips are one exposure too long to fit in the negative adapter, the ones I did manage to scan are brown (thought I was shooting black and white? Even so, the negatives are purple!), and the whole damn thing looks like it's covered in some kind of cyanobacteria. I've been scrubbing the glass for the past 24 hours, on the hour, and it keeps coming back.
Fuck you, scanner, in the immortal words of my roommate. Fuck you.
So maybe, someday, you'll find out just what I captured in that abandoned power plant, just me and my roommate and the wolf in the rafters and a number of construction workers taping things up. MAYBE
